Mud Agitator

Mud Agitator is widely used in the mud solids control system. It is installed in slurry storage tanks or mud tanks to stir slurry/mud to prevent drilling fluid solid particles depositing in the mud tank. Mud Agitator mainly consists of motor, reducer, base, stir rod and impellers.

Structure and Principle

This device mainly consists of an explosion-proof motor, a reducer, a machine base, and a pulsator component. The motor is connected to the reducer, and the reducer is connected to the pulsator shaft through a rigid coupling. The pulsator is welded together with four blades.
The pulsator can generate vortex motion in the stirring liquid, thereby enhancing the stirring effect. The tray sandwiched in the middle of the blades can also prevent solid particles of mud from depositing around the lower blades after shutdown. This reduces the resistance torque of sediment on the blades during startup, thereby avoiding motor burnout caused by startup overload.
